Documenting A Fine Art Portrait Photographer

Ever since I moved to Denver, I’ve been surrounded by the most inspiring creatives. Courtney, the owner and fine art portrait photographer of Courtney Noelle Photographie, has been one of my favorites since day one. She has a big love for film, like myself, and captures gorgeous women in the simplest, most beautiful ways. As the first post for my series “Artisans on Film” — I felt it was only right to document a fellow photographer — and, not to mention, her fine art portrait work is breathtaking. This post illustrates Courtney at work in her Downtown Denver studio. Between strobe chords and delicate fine art backdrops, you can gain a certain “behind-the-scenes” look into what a session consists of with Courtney. I felt right at home documenting her in natural light, all on film, with acoustic music on in the background.

If you’re in search for timeless, “I-look-like-I’m-in-a-painting”, gorgeous photographs of yourself or someone you love — look no further than Courtney. And, if you’re a fellow creative and are looking to have your craft documented in its truest form, I would be honored to come chat with you about your amazing talent and photograph you while doing so!
