I’ve been holding onto these Downtown Huntsville bridal portraits for too long now. It’s time I share some of the beauty Old Frond Floral created this past Fall with the beautiful Rachel Gelmis!

Anna of Old Frond specializes in lush, organic, and perfectly imperfect wedding florals. Her eye for color and design is impeccable and her work provides a softness to even the most rigid and urban venues (such as the buildings of Downtown Huntsville). I have to be honest when I say I believe her work is best photographed on film 😉 because, it also, has an organic nature and showcases colors and details like no other.

You’ll see a mix of modern with Rachel’s earrings and shoes juxtaposed by weathered brick walls and the classic southern Jackson vine. I also love the similarity in color of the autumn leaves in the bouquet and Rachel’s stunning red hair. Who wouldn’t want a bouquet tailored perfectly to them?!
