Intimate backyard weddings are always one-of-a-kind. From the unique details, close family and friends and ample amount of time I get to spend with the bride and groom — there’s a reason they’re, to me, highly sought after. Leah and Wagner’s enchanting backyard garden wedding was no exception.
They professed their vows in two different languages in front of Leah’s childhood home. Wooden ceremony pews faced the morning-lit garden “altar”. Their reception included a coffee and tea bar (including their special homegrown honey), a walk through buffet of cheese, bread and other treats. Their buffet also provided every guest with their own vintage serving plate. Guests celebrated with them to the tune of folk music under a backyard tent.
Whenever I look back at this wedding, I always feel like I’m in the middle of a bluegrass folk song. I’ll be lucky if I get the honor of documenting another wedding like Leah and Wagner’s! Congrats, you two!
