I am no world-traveller. Although, some days I wish I were. As far as being out of the country, I went to Ireland in high school – and just in November – Curaçao! I’d say this cute little paradise was a great first-time island experience for Johnny and I.
If you’re looking for beautiful, turquoise-water beaches filled with friendly locals and color, a melting pot of different cultures, historic buildings, and a good selection of resorts – this could be the vacation spot for you! Not to mention, there’s excellent scuba diving and snorkeling. Another reason Johnny and I chose this spot for our honeymoon was because it’s out the hurricane zone (extra plus if you ask me – not to have to worry about the weather for your wedding and your honeymoon).
