The pandemic changed a lot of things. Unfortunately, it took lives — and it altered practically everyone’s in some way. Not excluded from this are the lovebirds in the world; hoping to get married and start their lives together. Anna Grace and Stephen reached out to me in 2019 when the world had no idea of the change on the horizon. Their 2020 private residence wedding in Georgia had to be completely reorganized from the bottom up. The ceremony was originally going to take place at a church, but then shifted to the bride’s grandmother’s backyard. It has taken the past year to learn that sometimes the sweetest things can come from the seemingly worst. Although a large reception was planned initially, Anna Grace and Stephen chose to end their day with the people closest to them; their immediate families — gathering together in her mother’s backyard garden for dinner and toasts. I’ve taken a lot from 2020 — to go with the flow, appreciate the little things, the people, the days that just feel normal — because you don’t know how long normal will be around.
Anna Grace and Stephen celebrated, loved, and cherished this day. You can tell from the photographs.
