I’m so excited to be back in North Alabama and document more lifestyle photography! In January, when Johnny and I were still living in Colorado, I had the honor to witness Bethany of Keep Floral create pieces for a classic winter wedding. I first started my series Artisans on Film because I’ve always been interested in seeing how other people work; what’s their process? Are they mapping things out first? Or do they jump in head first? Do they start over a million times? Or do they go with the flow and enjoy the journey?

Bethany made it all seem too easy. Surrounded by buckets of different florals, she would consult her client’s notes, grab a handful of colored branches, mix, match, and five minutes later create a gorgeous centerpiece. I wish I had this kind of floral talent!
