This Alabama horse bridal portrait session is a new favorite of mine. Let’s just say, if all Alabama brides wanted portraits with their horses that would be fine with me!
On this sunny April day, I was arriving at the barn just as Nicole finished up brushing Kamila. It was just before sunset when we started shooting Nicole’s portraits. We found the best rosebush that resembled one from an English garden — it also acted as a perfect stand-in bouquet.
It was such a good time walking around the grounds of the horse barn and photographing Nicole and Kamila’s time together. Even though Kamila stopped to use the restroom, eat grass, and stare at a tractor or two, she is a trooper for sticking it through these gorgeous Alabama horse bridal portraits. There may have been some treats involved, too… 😉
